"Kendall County has special resources: with Silver Springs State Park, a thriving agricultural industry, and the Fox River running through several cities. My involvement with the Yorkville Parks and Rec Board, and longtime passion for enjoying and preserving our natural resources, will serve me well as a County Board member.
"It’s been said that things get done by those who show up. As a Democrat, I may be alone on the ballot, but I believe that the majority of voters want a candidate who has an open mind, wants a fiscally responsible government, and who shares their desire for a better community for all of us. Vote for me in March, and give me a chance to share my thoughts with more of the voters and win a seat in November.
"In the future, I would like to see the County Board align more closely with City-level governments to eliminate duplicate spending and to strengthen services. The value Kendall County’s agricultural industry brings to all of us is under-appreciated. That core resource can be enhanced to be a larger economic force." - Amy Cesich, Candidate for Kendall County Board, District 1. Contact Amy here.
